Ashish F/W 2010.

not really knitwear, but pretending to be...

not really knitwear, but pretending to be...

does it really matter that it's "old" when it's really freaking good? this is from London's Ashish's Fall 2010 collection. it's too good to be true. their most recent collection was BANGIN' but lacked a little in the knitwear respect... here are some highlights below!

something new from Jil Sander...

there was a bit of a mid-century ski resort vibe with Jil Sander's new collection and I was digging it! you know what that means, primary-coloured sweaters galore! awesome intarsias, crayon-coloured geo-jacquards, textured striped tuck stitches and more! and as a side note, that makeup was LOVELY. i might be trying out that turq eyeliner with my Lady Danger Mac lipstick this spring!

space!

that yarn is just great! it looks like wires... the candy, livewires, actually!

hoods!

and some vintage inspiration...

splendid sweater for a skiing trip.

found on an etsy page.

"classic vintage ski sweater in a pattern of polar bears on front, back and both sleeves. burgundy and navy blue on a soft knit grey background. this sweater is light weight, soft and stretchy, the kind you want to wear everyday. made in the USA by "Pronto", 100% Acrylic (looks just like wool but super soft against skin instead of itchy and scratchy- you don't need to wear an under shirt). excellent vintage condition, no flaws to note. sweater is labeled a size "large" but fits more like a modern day medium. here are some unstretched flat measurements to compare with a shirt or sweater you already own..."
